Champéry, Olympic Village!

Champéry is proud to be hosting the curling competitions for the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games.

From January 9th to the 22nd 2020, twenty-six years after becoming the Olympic Capital, Lausanne will finally become an Olympic City as host of the 3rd edition of the Winter Youth Olympic Games. With hundreds of young athletes ages 15 to 18 hailing from over 200 countries worldwide, this will be the world's largest multi-sports winter competition after the 'real' Olympic Games.

An unforgettable experienc for athletes and spectators alike, the YOG will combine athletic performance, culture and education in an authentic and festive celebration of sports and youth. These games aim to encourage young people to assimilate the positive values of sports, open-mindedness towards other cultures and respect for our environment, becoming ambassadors for health, self-confidence, excellence and fair-play throughout the world.
